Is there 22 x 28 or 24 x 36 poster board available somewhere? I can't seem to find it.... preferably a thicker foam board. What is 17 point foam board? Doesn't say the L X W ? Help!!!

weird no one has answered this but they guy settled on a regular frame for the poster with poster board backing... i bought this buddy a vedder 09 april fools tour poster from the site for his birthday and he initially wanted it to cover a hole to the crawl space in the loft but the regular frame JUST covered it.

just get some acid free backing board, the largest size usually is 24x36. You can ask in the framing area at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.
  • Tell ur buddy to go to any independent Custom Frame shop preferably or any retail Arts and Crafts store and ask for Acid-free Mat Board. It comes in an array of different colors and sizes that will work with the sizes you mentioned. In most cases it will be labeled as "Acid-free/buffered". He'll probably have to cut it down to the size he needs or ask if the shop will do it. After its cut to size he can simply replace the backing board or put it on top of the foam board so that the acid-free mat board is what's contacting the print. If by "regular frame" you meant he bought an off the shelf frame then it probably didn't come with an acid-free backing board and as such will damage the print over time so either way its a good

Lol... O, and tell him its a piece of modern art, not a drywall patch.
