I am always amazed when people aren't able to separate out the two concepts.

I am also saddened by the fact that many are so terrified of the idea that other countries can do what they want without our influence that they need to obfuscate things like Nowgonnaworkhereanymore's positions and words. I am not a fan of him, as he is simply another 'gov't knows best' type of leader in my eyes, but he certainly isn't as dangerous a player on the national scene as he is purported to be.

thanks for posting. this is a powerful video because the rabbi is even calling for the demise of the zionist regime.

this video reinforces what people have been saying on here for years. the zionists are the problem and they are the ones trying to destabilize the region.

ahmadinajad's problem is not with jewish people, but with the zionists who want to rain destruction down onto his country.

We don't disagree about everything

I can understand not liking him for the latter reason. I don't agree, but at least it is grounded in the proper thought process. Making it an Antisemitic issue is not helpful and completely obfuscates the truth.

being friendly with Iran and Israel is possible, I just wish people could see that. They, the gov'ts, will probably never be friendly. But we could do a huge service to the world by legitimizing the complaints that Iran has and actually starting to mediate the situation rather than simply saying Israel's way or the high way.
Makes me sad to think about. My dreams on non-interventionism and the concept of allegiance to none/trade with all seems so far away. Humans will always war, we don't have to be a part of it

I've said it before and I'll say it again... the only way to peace in the Middle East is to stop giving credence to religion.
