Midtown Music - A 10C first?

So I am definitely not bragging about this, but there were several 10C members around me at Midtown Sat night so I thought this would be a good way to re-connect with them.

Evidently during either the Florence show or PJ, I had a moderate heart attack. I hope I'm the only member that's had one at a show.

I'm only 39 so I didn't think it was that when it was happening.. I thought it was the crappy food, beer and POUNDING music that we had been taking since Garbage came on at 245 that day. We were about 10-12th row on the right side so I sure as hell didn't want to vacate.

Great show but stupid idea to stick around. Just got out of the hospital. I'm fairly certain that the adrenaline from PJ got me through the evening because as soon as the show was over, I was hurting.

Lots of cool 10C members all around, especially Mark and John from Greenville and ATL I believe. There was also a cool dude with a Maiden Somewhere on Tour shirt that I didn't catch his name. If any of you guys are around, hit a reply.

For others, get yourselves checked out no matter how old. You don't want to deal with this. Manged to record one vid with a phone. Sound is bad but whatever. Hopefully there will be a release on this show.

The 10C members kept everyone chill. It was super packed and could have got ugly, but it did not.

Wow! Thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad PJ gave you a good experience but that's pretty scary. I try not to think about the possibilities and obviously these things do happen but you never want to feel like you're that vulnerable. Glad you're okay and will get to have the experience again. PJ, not the heart attack of course... ;) Look after yourself!! :)

:o Wow man, I'm glad you're okay now. That must've been a terrible ordeal to go through. It certainly was a warm day, especially up next to all those bodies. That, coupled with the festival food and beer were sure to have exacerbated the problem. We did see the ambulance and fire trucks coming down the street as we were leaving after the show- wondered what was going on down there. Get healed up brother.
