Fucking PCs...
So all was well with my computer 12 hours ago. Shut down last night and Windows 7 performed an update. Logged on this morning and suddenly every time I log on to my user account (the admin account) I get "preparing your desktop". I am then automatically logged into a "Temporary User Account" where I don't have access to any documents, libraires, etc. If I make changes to the temp user account, and reboot, it resets everything again. My correct user account is still there. I can see it in the users folder, all of my music files, documents, etc. are still there, I just can't access them from this "temp user account". Looked online and found a lot of confusing and poorly written suggestions (most of them in relation to Vista as opposed to Windows 7). I was hoping someone on here might be able to offer some assistance. Thanks.
