"Go"..PJ bring back the "VS. intro" in 2008

noticed Jack Irons and Jeff Ament did a great job recreating the "Vs. drum/bass" intro before "Go" (like the Album version) during the early shows of the 1995 tour ...

The band has since dropped the intro..

I wish they would bring it back..

it seems to give that song even more "sonic punch" if that's possible...?

    my guess is because the drumming is identical to "why go". If you heard it you would automatically assume theyre playin why go.

    I guess it could give it more "sonic punch." But the way they do Go these days is just no good in general. It doesn't have the same effect anymore. Listen to the version from 3-28-94 Miami, for example. It seriously rocks. SERIOUSLY. Listen to the section right after the guitar solo with the drum fills, absolutely amazing. These days it's just not the same as it was. A lot of it has to do with Abbruzzese I guess. But Eddie doesn't really get into it anymore either.

    So I say, bring back the intro, AND just improve the song in general.

    I saw them play it in '06 and it rocked liked crazy

    Go is played WAY too fast currently.
