Question about Eddie Vedder Tour (Jacksonville, FL)

I am thinking of taking my 11 year old daughter to the Jacksonville, FL concert on Nov the 24th. I see there are some tickets still available. Just wanted to check to make sure this this environment would be appropriate for her (I would think it would).
She LOVES Eddie and Pearl Jam and her favorites are the "slow songs" I just got back from the Midtown Music festival in Atlanta and would NEVER put her in that environment (this was my first Pearl Jam show, and it was incredible, I told my wife it was as close to a religious experience that I would likely ever experience!)
Also, anyone have any good seats available for sale? Or recommend the best seats available on ticketmaster. I tried to figure it out with the map they provide, but it is confusing. Thanks Jay

I've seen Eddie solo a handful of times and I would say an 11 year old who likes Pearl Jam would have an EXCELLENT time at the show -- as long as you don't mind a stray curse word here or there. The shows are orderly and always take place in beautiful theaters. Eddie does quite a bit of storytelling and plays his solo material, selected acoustic covers, and the quieter end of some of the Pearl Jam songs he's written. It's a good time and a lot more laid back than a Pearl Jam show. People will sing along, people may shout out requests, but it's the farthest thing from rough you'd imagine with a theatre show. Highly recommend. Your 11 year old PJ fan will treasure it if it's his or her first show. How cool?
Just my .02 cents.
I saw Eddie in Australia and it was a wonderful experience.
11 year old me would have loved it.

I believe it's going to be unforgettable, for me at least. My first PJ show was in Orlando in 92 and take my kid to see Eddie there, is surreal!
But you will have the opportunity to explain exceedingly drunken behavior. Maybe even a conversation about the haze in the air. But a vast majority of EV fans are completely polite and respectful of others, of the venue, of the artist...
Some anxiety perhaps around the crush at the merch booth, she's gotta get a shirt! (Let her stand to the side as you wait in line?) Consider letting her have a coke, lil hopped up on sugar and caffine! (Though that backfired for me, my daughter crashed during encore of Alive during her first PJ show... Age 9.)
You won't need for Eddie or Glen -- but when you're ready, go big: Etymotic Research ER20 ETY-Plugs Hearing Protection Earplugs. Forget the crappy foam inserts, too muffled. Doesn't hurt to have 'em though, you might be near a PA stack (ushers usually have foam plugs).
OMG I'm jealous, my daughter has JUST flashed big time on Into the Wild -- and I'd already booked for Phoenix without her, ah well, next tour... My daughter and I catch about 5-6 shows every year now (she's 14), some are my favs (rush), some are her's (Keane). But the memories are both of ours!
Be prepared, think about what she might encounter, eat well before you go, get there somewhat early, merch, soda, bathroom -- she'll really enjoy Glen, and the crowd may be super thin (sadly) so it's great to take it in, get acclimated. Say "hi" to those around you, subtly make everyone aware that you've got a child with you. I always let the folks behind us know she may be sitting on her knees.. Be prepared to swap seats with her if large dude plops down in front of her... Prepare for her NOT seeing during the encore (Hard Sun), or make sure folks behind are cool if she stands on the seat (the ushers will not let you, but...)
And make sure she knows how to scream!
Exactly this.

I agree with everyone else that has already posted replies. The overall vibe of an EV show is much more laid-back than a standard PJ show. I was also at Midtown with my wife last month and would not have wanted to have my kids with us, not a good environment. But when we saw Ed in St. Louis last year, it was absolutely wonderful. He is still so passionate and powerful, plays a lot of familiar PJ, Uke, and ITW masterpieces. Obscure covers are also interlaced into the setlist. As has already been mentioned, Ed does engage in some colorful storytelling. But hey, that's why we go, right? Get there early to enjoy Glen Hansard, too. If you're never seen or heard him, you are in for a real treat!
I've already been told by my 11-yr old and 7-yr old that the next time PJ comes to an amphitheater near us, without a GA atmosphere, that they're ready. PJ Radio has taught them well...Me - "OK, first one to name the next song wins!" 11-yr old daughter - "Ooo, Ooo....I Believe In Miracles by the Ramones, right?" 7 yr-old son - "I hope they play Got Some next!"
