i'm traveling from ny to chicago for sunday. i'm picking up a friend at midway airport on saturday night and was just wondering what i'm going to do with my car all day on sunday without having to spend a fortune to park in a garage during the day into the night. if any kind chicago local could help a brother out and point me in the right direction i would be greatly appreciative. i have no problems driving to a location where a train or subway runs into the night so i can get back to my rigg when pj is finished. any thoughts??? thanks in advance. md

I just want to make sure i can get a ride back to the lot after a hopefully longer than anticipated show. i was looking at the webdsite but couldn't make out fur sure the schedule. it looked like it was the hour and then the minutes the train will arive at in the other column, but not positive. Also, do these park and ride lots fill up and if so where are the best ones to go that i will have better luck at be filled. finally, sorry to be a pain in the ass, i just want to have a plan in line so i don't get blind-sided....only been to chicago once and it was only overnight. anyway, it looks like the adams stop is where to get off the train for gtant park right? thanks again!

last trains out of the city are usually at 12:30 am during the week and 11pm on weekends from the LaSalle street station wich is the Rock Island Line. they may have a few later trains to accomodate Lolla passengers you can call them to see.
park and ride lots do not fill up on the weekends usually.
are you looking at metra or cta?

Anyway, I'm looking to get rid of these tickets at face value (or less) or will even consider a trade of equal or lesser value (pearl jam items preferred). The tricky part is that EVERYONE meets at Bucky Fountain (because it's the only landmark people know in Grant Park).
When you enter the south end of Grant Park (the softball field side), there will be two beer stands to the right of the AT&T stage (where PJ is playing). How about meeting near one of those? One is closer to the stage, and one is further back - I'll be near the one further back.
