yea, its cool to have a bottle as a collector's item but this is one of the worst dogfish brews i've ever tasted.

you know how much of the 120 minute ipa you can get for 50 bucks?

I agree. 50$ is definately high, especially since that beer is UNDRINKABLE considering it was brewed almost a year ago. I'm pretty sure most beer only has a shelf life of 90-120 days. Its way past that at this point. So you would only be buying this as a collector's item. And I'm pretty sure anyone who wanted it to collect more then likely already has it.

I'd like a bottle to display but not for that price.

Where in PA are you at? I'm in the Philly Burbs and will give you an empty bottle.

Yeah, you waited to long. You would definitely have been able to sell them last fall and even early this year, but not now.

There are about 20 bottles sitting at my local packie for $14.99. Haven't moved a lot of units in the last 2 months or so.

Can't remember if this is bottle-conditioned at all, but either way I'm sure the contents are fine. Most beers do not have a 90-120 day shelf life and will hold up fine as long as they're stored properly. (Aside, of course, from beers relying heavily on hops, coffee, or pepper for the flavor profile. That ain't Faithful Ale.)

OP, from the price standpoint, you'll probably want to come down significantly if you're intent on moving them. They're not particularly difficult to come by on the shelf and most people who wanted to get their hands on it have and, frankly, still can.

I just opened one that had been properly stored this weekend. The beer was absolutely fine. Not a quality Dogfish Head beer, but it had not gone bad.

I just read this in the rules and regs. I didn't realize they posted this rule before but it looks like you should probably take this sale down
