Ok, in terms you understand - he is irrationally calling for the death of another human being, he is a religious extremist, not neccessarliy representative of islam as a whole.

You on another thread, called for the nuking of an entire region, I am going to assume you are Christian, you are a religious extremist, not neccessarily representative of Christianity as a whole.

thats as much about politics as it is religion. play to religious fervor , keeps people distracted from whats really wrong in a society. Like how it is this guy has 100K to throw around? When so many there are so dirt poor.

there ya go again...using logic, but do you know anything about islam ? I only know what is in the news lately and the little experiances I've had with the locals in my area and they really could use some...manners,., and the caldians are very cool people, what I have noticed is that islamest in the news are always there for killings of some sort or another...when was the last time you saw headlines that read "caldian kills wife over honor" or caldian offers $100,000 for filmmakers death ?

I would honestly question why your media outlets report the news that way, is what I would do. To be fair, American media portrayed the troubles in my country much the same way in the 70's 80's and 90's, Catholics killing Protestants.

Yet these generalisations did nothing to deal with the actual issues that were going on. I guess it was much easier to pitch a news segment in easily digestible chunks, than to actually go into any depth.

But really though, why leave it up to any news outlet for information on the world, why not just go and get the information yourself?

Like if I was to believe every stereotype I get from tele or news outlets I'd believe that; most black people are criminals, irish are drunks, english football fans are hooligans, americans are lazy and stupid, all muslims are psycopaths. But I don't believe that (it's actually too easy to believe), I question it, I ask; according to who.

As a father I have a reponsibility to my little girl, a responsibility to bring her up right, to use her head to get ahead. Isn't it funny that skin colour, religion, and family history mean fuck all to a child? And we're the ones that expect them to learn from us :roll:

Pakistan as a whole politically are an interesting country when talking about the muslim world and their relationship with the west.

Seems like every know and then the extreme Pakistan agenda shines through like in this article. They are supposed to be an allie in the middle-east/sub continent to the west but seems like they have a bit on both sides. Cricket teams have stopped in large playing tours in Pakistan due to safety concerns.. Pakistan matches especially againsty England and Australia are played in UAE..

This kinda sentiment coming from a politician is just going to encite both sides and take peace further and further away.
