As Romney walked back to the plane to shake hands with the five individuals who drove vans in the motorcade, your pooler asked Romney if he was going to be campaigning a little harder from here on out.

"Ha ha. We’re in the stretch aren’t we? Look at those clouds. It’s beautiful,” he said, pointing to the sky. “Look at those things.”

I hate to say it, but I still see him winning; or, more accurately, the Congressional Republicans and the right-wing media won. They ran a masterful propaganda campaign against the evil, radical, socialist, communist, marxist, Kenyan Hitler who is anti-business and who hates America.

I just drove to my folks house in Boca Raton, Florida...very ordinary hood...and almost every damned yard had a Romney sign :? ...I guess I shouldnt be shocked. But I hear Romney is making his way down here soon...tomorrow? They like to fight for Florida I suppose...get the confused old bats out there to vote for the handsome man with nice hair.

But here we go, Romney is releasing his tax records apparently:
    http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/21/pf/taxe ... ?hpt=hp_t3

it also says he made 13.7 mil last year and donated 4 mil to charity. I like to hear that. But Im confused...we always say these politicians are greedy and whatnot, but they often donate a ton of money to charity...so which is it?

    Did Obama donate to charities?

I would bet that the majority of the 'charity' is to the Mormon church.

i hope to god romney runs.

it is as if he feels that he didn't get his ass kicked bad enough last time.

clinton would destroy him in a national election. all of those quotes about the 47% who want handouts and a nanny state etc, AND romneycare are going to be fair game.

Clinton won't run, there's too much dirt, nobody that has two brain cells would vote for her.

I don't know. Not my choice but thinking she could win.

I would vote for her and I have an MBA and am an executive with a financial services organization (and ironically, very closely tied to private equity). Does that mean i don't have 2 brain cells? Perhaps I just have different priorities than Mitt or the Paul family.

The Republican debates should be starting pretty soon if they want to get all 214 done in time for the primary.

I just pray that a Bush or Clinton isn't involved in the finals. I've only lived a few years of my life when one of those royal families didn't have one of their butts sitting in White House meetings.

If she's alive for eight years after she's theoretically elected. She's getting a little long in the tooth.

She's a pretty normal age for being elected president, really (66 right now), until Bill Clinton came along. Clinton, GW, and Obama just got us used to the POTUS not being an old fart. Before them being an old fart was pretty standard! :D

    I prefer the new standard.

Nothing against old farts, but I feel like I've already lost about 25% of my cognitive ability, and I'm not even 40 yet (a few months to go).

I mean, I love my living grandmother (76) -- OTHER ONE ALREADY DEAD! -- I think she's one of the toughest and smartest ladies I know, but I sure as shit would not want her running our country. If I had an amiable living grandfather of the same age -- oh, wait BOTH ALREADY DEAD! -- I'd say the same thing.

If Hillary runs, she better have an awesome running mate.
