The Long And Winding Road ... Bringing The Beatles On Vinyl To Your Door!

Lads and lassies, it's another British invasion! The Beatles — on vinyl! Meticulously remastered!

To say that the Fab Four's recorded legacy is overdue for a major vinyl sonic overhaul is an understatement! Fans have waited decades for remastered, upgraded LP versions of the Beatles' blue-chip catalog. Now they're coming, for real! This project has been years in the making with multiple hold-ups due to the meticulousness of all involved.

Shipping starting Nov. 13th, The Beatles Stereo Box Set will feature a limited edition collection of 16 remastered LPs and an exclusive booklet. The 14 titles (two are double LPs) will also be available individually.

Each is sourced from the original master tapes. Each title was then copied into 24-bit/192 Khz files and then cut to lacquer at Abby Road Studios. It was a painstaking process with maximum attention paid to every detail!

Here at last is the classic rock catalog of dreams. Ah, but dreams can be fleeting things — don't risk these remastered Beatles' LPs selling out. They will! The Beatles remastered on vinyl is too good to miss

  • This sounds awesome, but the sale price is $400, list price is $500  That almost $30 per album.

Odd that the Beatles site doesn't have any info on this, hopefully the individual albums pop up soon!

I thought that seemed pretty steep as well. You can still get the whole Rolling Stones catalog for $550, but that's for 2 separate boxed sets with 31 records total.

They'll be available individually as well. The box would be cool to get, but I just plan on filling in the cracks of my collection. My copies of Sgt Pepper's and White Album aren't as good as I'd like.

I bought the CD Stereo re-issues in 2009. Love them and listen to them often. Really want the Beatles catalog on vinyl but am at a crossroads. I don't really need/want the stereo vinyl box seeing as I have it on CD but it is limited to 50,000 worldwide and has a cool looking 250 page book.

Really love to have the mono reissues they are saying are coming next year but not sure if it would include the book or not. I know I would have to get Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let it Be on Stereo as there are no mono mixes of these albums.

What to do, what to do?

  • I have my origins in the time of vinyl just after the time when the world was black and white. I have most of the Beatles (and of course Neils, Led Zeps etc) on vinyl but you guys have just reminded me that I haven't spun the black circles for a looooong time.

Might have to dust them off and give them a whirl.
Now I'm livin' out here on the beach,
but those seagulls are still out of reach.
