Used to be. I had family in The City most of my life and lived there for about 4 years from '69 to '73. It was a strange time because the "Summer of Love" had ended and a period of bleakness had set in. But you can't keep the place down for long. It came back and is a great town today. I still have close ties there and was visiting just this last Sunday, walking around the Sunset near the park. Suddenly it felt like it was 1972 again- bleak and grey, but we had great Japanese food on 9th near Irving and it was the fabulous 2000's again. Great town. It always comes back to life.

SF is one of the cities I live in. I'm here about half the time, most of the rest is at my house in LA.
I'm planning on being here until either Sunday or (if I go to the Folsom Street Fair,) Monday.
Why?
