What happend to Save You?

prior to this tour it had been a live staple and probably one of two or three songs off Riot Act that i could see sticking around for a while. Now it seems as tho it has been forgotten. any ideas why? i admit i was sick of hearing but now miss it. what say you?

    They played it in San Francisco and it sounded great. It's not really accurate to say that it was a "staple prior to this tour" because the last tour was in support of Riot Act, so naturally they played a lot of Riot Act songs on that tour.

    But you're right, it seems that Riot Act didn't get much love this tour - except maybe LBC (at least on the first leg).
    you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.

    Well, techinically the last few tours were not in support of Riot Act: VFC, Canada, SA.

    it´s always the same.....previous album doesn´t get a lot of time in a new album tour...it happened with binaural in the riot act tour..it happened with yield in the binaural tour...etc, etc....it will happen next tour wit the avocado....and then we will all be dead

    I personally am really happy they dropped it from the sets as it was the one song from Riot Act and maybe even all of Pearl Jams catalog that I could just never get in to.
    words seem so out of place.

    I noticed it wasn't played quite as much as well, but as others said, it seems to be a trend with album releases and songs played on current tours.

    Anyways, it's a song that grew on me very slowly and I really enjoy it.

    Probably because it was a faster song and they have plenty of fast songs to play...like Brain of J, Go, new songs...ie..

    I was mad that I didnt get it at my 2 shows. It is my favorite off of Riot Act.

    it was played a damn lot in 03, 04 and 05. About time it wasnt played every night I feel it has been replaced by Severed Hand or WWS.
