"There are two ways to conquer & enslave a nation.

One is by the sword.

the other is by debt." John Adams 1826

Obama+-+C%2527mon+Baby%252C+Give+Me+One+More+Chance.jpg

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Four more years of this? I think Romeny has earned my vote.

Not really. But "not getting the job done" is quite subjective, and when you consider the alternative, it's a little more complicated than a bumper sticker quote.

Ok. So, let's talk about that. Lowest labor participation rate in 30 years. Unemployment above 8%. That's not getting the job done to me. Is that getting the job done to you?

Not well enough... But at the same time, bringing someone in who hasn't said that he'd really do anything different than the previous administration who helped get us into this mess, isn't all that appealing to me either.

So, you KNOW the current is a failure. You THINK the new will be. Why would you go with what you KNOW instead of what you're being purely SUBJECTIVE about in that case?

    That seems weird to me.

I'm surprised our President has the following he does with the state of things,
this might say something about the other guy running.
Probably says a lot about the party lines drawn and the very basic difference
    in ideology.
Our government currently is buying votes from people who want to be taken care
of by a government. That is scary shit right there.

Maybe if Mitt actually puts out any concrete plans at the debates I will consider. But so far, we get a plan to cut taxes, and vague plans to close loopholes and cut spending (without saying which ones or what spending). Combining with his Neo-con saber rattling, and with having a "budget guy" like Ryan, who basically rubber stamped all of the Bush Era spending, I'm not holding my breath on spending any less.

So, right now, I am not really willing to take a leap of faith for a candidate who really has given me no reasons to think he will do anything better with the economy.

edit - and I never said the current is a failure... that was you who said that. On the economy, I said he hasn't done well enough. But there are other areas where I view his first term as a success.

God help us. God bless Christopher Stephens.

Our Ambassador was indeed dragged through the streets of Benghazi and NOT taken to a hospital where he later died of smoke inhalation. What bullshit they expect us to swallow.

Shame on this administration and the lame stream media for posting lies as to how this man was actually killed. Shame on this administration for apologizing for something that the US did not do. Shame on this administration for NOT providing our Marines with ammunition with which they could have protected our people and our sovereign soil.

Shame on Anderson Cooper for carrying the message of these barbaric animals who have suggested a film maker exercising free speech should be tried and punished. He's too damn stupid to admit the obvious. These attacks had very little to do with a dumb movie. This was all about 9-11. These were not mobs. These were sophisticated and co-ordinated attacks using RPG's.

Shame on Hillary Clinton for ignoring the warnings she was given and trying to blame a idiotic film (made by an Egyptian living in the US--surprise surprise) to cover her fat ass. Shame on the Kenyan Born Muslim POS POTUS and LSOS.

Shame on the Muslims in the US who are enjoying our Freedoms, our Culture and the Safety of our shores, for not speaking up and condemning these attacks.

Rand Paul will soon sponsor a bill to cut off Foreign Aid to Libya and Egypt. .

I'm reminded that Thomas Jefferson sent the US Navy to clean out the barbaric pirates in this region. Obama will probably send a strong letter of protest. He makes Jimmy Carter look good.................at least Jimmy at least tried to mount a rescue.

Smarten up people. Remember what Clint Eastwood said: "When someone is not doing the job, you gotta let'm go."

Personally, I look forward to the day the LSOS is tried for fraud and treason.

"Under the current president, we are at risk of becoming a poor country, because he looks to government as the great benefactor in every life," Ryan said.

"He's solid and trustworthy, faithful and honorable," Ryan said of Romney. "Not only a defender of marriage, he offers an example of marriage at its best. Not only a fine businessman, he is a fine man, worthy of leading our country, and ready to lead the great turnaround we have spent four years waiting for."

With ALL this being said and done the President has at least a 3 point lead in battle ground states including surprisingly here in Florida.

That's kind of sad to me...dismissing someone simply because of age?

That's not what I did. If there was a 32 year old mumbling at a chair, it would have come off the same to me.
