Every single time I walk in to a gas station or convenience store, why do I ALWAYS have to deal with the fucking lottery fuckers?

Give me a $1 straight pick 3
Give me a $1 box pick 4
Let me have 3 little lotto's
Let me have 4 quick picks for tomorrows Big Game
Is there a lotto game Saturday?

6am this morning, trying to buy a gallon of milk, and I have to wait 10 minutes for Mrs. Lottery, to get her gambling fix? At 6am?
Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    It's a tax on the poor. And it's the dumbest form of gambling ever. Plus, how awesome would it be to host a contest and you get to take back 40% of the winnings even though you already had totally wet your beak?

    Half of ALL ticket sales goes right to the State. Right? If the jackpot is $40 million, then that means $80 million tickets were sold. Right? Then when the guy takes a one lump sum on his $40 million winnings, he is taxed 40% right of the top. Right? And all that money is going to the schools and the roads? BULLSHIT!
    How much money, in the last 20 years, has been collected by the state of Illinois due to the sales of lottery tickets? GAZILLIONS! Where the fuck has all that money gone?

    what boggles my mind is when you see people dropping $50, $75, or $100 for tickets to one drawing. The odds of winning are so small, you can buy thousands of tickets and still not increase your chances at all.

    I guess I am still a sucker, play every week, but only one ticket, because you only need one to win......and one day I will!!!!!! mmuuahhahahahahaha :lol::lol:

    I moved to NJ earlier this year and I cant buy a 12 pack at 7-11 or WaWa. I have to go to a special store -- wtf is with that? You can buy 12 cartons of smokes (killers) and you can buy 13 tasty cakes/ho-hos/lard items (killers) but I cannot buy a twelver.

    I love our country but it is very odd how we legislate things from state to state.

    not in NC--all the same lines. :roll: The only 'rule' most stores have is people can't do lottery at the drive-thrus. But the one guy thing, yes, typically.
