I only know 2 of the artists, Django Django and The Maccabees so I'll be rooting for them. Should give the others a listen i suppose.

    Also Dimitris all time second favourite band won this, GOMEZ!!! :D

    I only know of The Maccabees and Plan B, I think last year was the same. I must be a little out of touch now that I'm at dad-rock age... :oops:

    Laura Marling's disc is awesome. The first 5 songs are amazing.

    Gotta start listening to the new Arctic Monkeys disc too.

    i was surprised it was nominated since it just came out. i'll have to check Laura Marling. Only other album i have besides Arctic Monkeys is the Foals album.

  • Arctic Monkeys - 'AM', David Bowie - 'The Next Day & Foals - 'Holy Fire' are three great albums.

    Bowies comeback was outstanding but I think AM is the album of the year so far so hope Arctic Monkeys win
