Paul McCartney just added a Houston show...Anyone going to that or to any other shows this year?

That could possibly be the best concert week ever for me.

Sunday & Monday: Bruce in St Paul (still iffy)
Wednesday: Paul McCatney (not sure yet)
Thursday: Eddie
Saturday: Bruce in KC

:o I'm out of control! :fp: But sounds awesome! :D

I noticed Paul and Eddie were back to back. Awesome for the people that go to both. I'd do the Macca show if it weren't in the middle of the week. Saw him in 2002 and 2005 and they were 2 of the best shows I've ever seen.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Saw him in 09 at Cowboy Stadium and it was great. I want to go to this one, but my only reservation about it is that it is at a baseball stadium and any "decent" seats are really expensive...I'm looking at one of the upper 2 levels if I go, probably.

I'll be at McCartney, and then I have Eddie Vedder two days in a row before that. What a great concert week.

Hope the sound is good at Minute Maid, never seen a concert there, only baseball games.

PS: would be sweet if Ed showed up at McCartney, cause he plays Houston on the 12th and 13th, and Dallas the 15th but wishful thinking. 8-)

I saw him in arenas both times. I'm sure it will be great no matter where it is.

I was amazed every time I saw Sir Paul.
( He wasnt Sir at the time I saw him tho- a few years back)

I particularly was drawn in watching
a genius left handed guitar player .

got two in section 321. Just glad I get to see Paul McCartney. Beatles were what I listened to mostly, as a kid, before Pearl jam. He is also the last name on my bucket list of bands I have to see.

I'd love to see Paul. Paul has remained the top of my concert "to see" list and still waiting. Wish he'd come here or close to here.

  • Got tickets to see his st.lou show. $205 for some not so good seats, but hey I'm In the door.

Now if Jellyfish would start up again I'd knock out all my "gotta see" list.

Yeah he's great. I saw him in Philly like two years ago. He played for like three hours and his encore "break" was literally less than a minute. I think he just ran back, took a piss, and was right back on the piano.
