UKDave wrote:Yeah, hi stranger
Been frigging busy... :(
Work, flat is going up for sale so need to find new home and clean current one for viewings / photos tomorrow, helping out a mate tonight, GnR Tues, fly out to La Manga for 5-6 days Weds... got Speed workshop when I come back in Bristol (avoids me getting 3pts though) and then a wedding weekend before Dublin where I am either an usher or best man if current best man's partner is too ill to go....
How's you?
Oh Dave
It's nice to be busy though(with the non work things) although being made a best man at short notice isn't ideal. At least there's a holiday in there
Well I have bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend, camping next weekend, a weekend off, a wedding weekend in the Midlands, a Hen weekend after that and the following weekend will be Reading so obviously the odd thing going on during the week
Had the Chilis on Tuesday. Was good and Earl's Court is air conditioned. The only support was !!! but Patti Smith came out for one song with RHCP. The lighting and the moving screens were good.
It was nice to see that even though they were on a huge stage they play as close together as if it were a tiny venue. So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -

As 'chief' bridesmaid I have been told to pick a dress I like in a colour I like and the other bridesmaid will wear what I choose (she lives in Italy so it's hard for her to argue) and the flowers will be chosen to match the dress so I'm guessing no on the pink and lacyUKDave wrote:!!! wound me up, the music was kinda interesting but the singers were tossers...
I found the music OK and interesting as a shorty I couldn't see too much but we did spend sometime copying his head, arm, body movements we weren't meant to be taking it seriously were weSo are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -

I agree with you that it wasnt a proper headline full gig set kinda thing... but Eavis has said they havent played together for 35 years.. and Pinkus Floydicus, albeit briefly, did play together... plus they were still playing together late 70's so his 35 year thing would be ruled out...
i just dont fecking know!!!!oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -
