Me: I agree it's really really bad

Guess what I just did? Yep.... wash floors (all of them!). Don't know why because in a few hours the house will be filled with loads of kids (well 5) bringing muck from the garden and everything! Why does one think they need to clean the house before having people around - it'll only get dirtier!
