Hmmm... Just an observation from a newbie.

This is my first post in this forum, but looking at the types of threads that get locked...

Looks like if you want to have a debate about how Bush is the most incompetent boob ever, this is the place to be...

But it also looks like if you think Obama is the most incompetent boob ever, your thread will be quickly locked.

How "progressive".

    I actually like knowing where folks are coming from, whether a view polar from mine or not.

    But yeah, it's the flying off the handle shit that tends to stink up the joint.

    Some people miss the reviewed threads that are reopened because they have value and are not just full of bickering and personal vendettas, the same bickering that's been going on since this forum was opened. People keep forgetting to not make personal comments at each other and just debate the topic.

    Welcome to the Forums new person. All you'll need to know is in the Posting Guidelines about how to get along here and if you have any questions, please feel free to PM us (Kat and Sea). It's important to remember that everyone is a real person behind the keyboard and not just words on the screen. We're very big here on how Ten Club members treat each other. We're all Pearl Jam fans so how could it be any other way?

    As soon as I hear from the person who began a second thread after the first one was closed, that second thread could be reopened but if I don't hear from him, it will remain closed. The thread had value but rules are rules when you're moderating and they apply to all. :)

    Finally, if you have any questions about moderating, please feel free to PM and not start threads about it. We don't care what party someone is with. Thanks!
