I don't expect much as far as a great setlist or anything like that, just will be nice to have them in front of me.LukinFan wrote:

I'll be at Deluna and midtown.

Oh, I agree. It's a festival either way. I was thinking the same when I went to Roo in 08 and that setlist was incredible, but Roo and Midtown couldn't be more different.I'm a Truck wrote:

My wife and I will be there Friday and Saturday! - - gonna be staying at the Midtown Marriott -- walking distance to Piedmont park...
Any other Jammers staying there? Where is the pre-party? - - For these festivals, is there some secret to getting up front? - - I went to Bonnaroo and there was still a gated off section... will this festival be the same, some sort of VIP section? Or is it truly GA? - - I've never been closer than my first PJ show, GA in '96 at Memorial Stadium... would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be that close again... this will only be my 11th show...

Id like to know this as well... will it be truly GA, or has (enter a corporation here) blocked off a viewing section?0 -
at Roo you could even get in front of the rail - they had that section where they would clear people out after each act. All festivals should do thisRhinoJam wrote:My wife and I will be there Friday and Saturday! - - gonna be staying at the Midtown Marriott -- walking distance to Piedmont park...

See ya there!!!!
I'l be arriving at the Marriott Suites Thursday from Virginia. Meeting my son who will be driving in from Nashville. Gonna be fun.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride"!

What are we expecting as the opener?
Like others have already mentioned, not exactly expecting much of a unique or rare of a set list - just hope it's not a 100% hit parade. But then again, what do I care - it's been over a year since my last show. Going to this and EV in Vegas in October, can't wait!Bristow, VA - 5.13.10

I will also be there for the weekend! I'll be flying in with another huge fan on Thursday through Sunday. I'm not expecting a WOW setlist but I hope to hear a few jems like "Who You Are", "Light Years", "In Hiding" and "Gremmie Out of Control"!
I'm also excited to see The Foo Fighters, Florence and the Machine and of course... TI and Ludacris!Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.0 -
I also predict "Do the Evolution" as the opener. Not that I want that particular song but after MIA in Philly they started with "Go" it's hard to see them use a slow song to start the set.Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Hi I am attending the show too, does anyone know if the VIP tickets are worth it, its hard to tell from maps if the viewing area is good or not...looks like it might be too far off to the side of the stage?...any feedback on this would be appreciated! Thanks!0
