Eddie with Bruce Springsteen @ Wrigley

Eddie joined Bruce Springsteen friday & saturday night at Wrigley Field. i was at the friday night show & he joined Bruce to play Atlantic City, and then 10th Avenue Freezeout & Twist & Shout along with Tom Morello for the last two. Incredible show!

    how was the sound? last time i was at wrigley for a show, they had it cranked to ear bleed levels. sounded aweful

    old yes...it happens....

    but seriously, we were 75 yards from teh stage in teh stands and it hurt. it was a combonation of it being super loud, and out of tune. everything seemed distorted. it really did hurt....and by all accounts, it was poorly set up.

    I thought Friday's show sounded great.

    Based on what I had read about shows at Wrigley, I expected the worst for the sound but did not notice any issues. I am sure that where you sit has an impact on the acoustics (we were in the lower deck near the front). We were told not to sit anywhere where you are covered or in the upper deck for concerts.
