It's a similar experience to when you've been relaxed by the shear beauty and calmness of Off He Goes...
And then Habit destroys your ears and scares tr crap out of you!!

  • Hahaha I love this. I distinctly remember the first moment this happened and I was sitting in traffic and then it came on and I jumped and my eyes got really wide  (like that). Still gets me too! Right when I put on the album, I always think, "ok, I know what's coming at the end of 'Sometimes'. I'm ready for it." And within a minute, "Sometimes" has completed seduced me and made me forget all previous warnings and cautions...BOOM.

Kind of reminds me of "Dance Yrself Clean" by LCD Soundsystem, if anyone's familiar with it.
  • There was a time, when whatever Pj album i wanted to listen to, I always choose No Code. not sure now if its my fav album or not, but for a good while it was the one ilistened to the most, i just love the feel of this album.
it has such a great vibe.

"Writer's block" at the end of Binaural used to get me ALL the time - responsible for many near-bed-wettings!

I remember having no code as my alarm in high school/college and that it would start to wake me up with sometimes and then I would almost fall out of bed with Hail hail. It was awesome.

Master/Slave FTW, although Writers Block is certainly creepy. Nothing more creepier than laying in bed, hearing a typewriter, thinking someone is watching... :o:o:o
