On Wednesday, Julia Rodriguez, a delegate to the Democratic convention from New York, told The Blaze that she would like to kill Mitt Romney, and she happily made the statement on video.

“Romney will destroy this country completely,” she told The Blaze.

Then she grabbed the microphone and told The Blaze exactly what she would like to do.

“If I see him, I would like to kill him!” she screamed emotionally.

"The exchange caught The Blaze by surprise and was as unscripted as it was bizarre and shocking," Benny Johnson wrote.

Unhinged liberals calling for Romney's death is nothing new.

In August, we reported three times that liberals on Twitter called for Romney's death, and some actually threatened to kill those who vote for him.

In early August, a Facebook page advocating Romney's murder went live, and finally went offline on August 27.

The so-called "mainstream media," perhaps due to its own pro-Obama bias, remained silent on the threats made against Romney and his supporters.

The media was also silent as liberals on Twitter called for Ann Romney's death.

Romney is not the only Republican targeted with death wishes on the social media site.

As we have reported earlier, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and Republican voters in general have been targeted by leftists sending death wishes on Twitter.

Liberals also wished death on Supreme Court Justices after they ruled on Arizona's immigration law.

Liberals on Twitter have also called for the death of a six-year-old boy after he was featured in a viral anti-Obama video.

Safe to say there are dumb asses on both sides. Going on camera or taking it to twitter is beyond stupid. I guess the Secret Service's task is to sort out who's a real threat and who is looking for attention.

It doesn't matter what political party someone is in. Anyone saying they want to kill someone or encouraging others to kill someone is off their rocker. Lock 'em up for a long observation period and counseling and what they need to return to normal if possible. Get them off the streets so civil, normal people don't have to worry about them shooting up a crowded building. There are a lot of really sick people out there. Angry too but we all have to use self-control with that as adults. Now how about the real issues that this crap distracts us from? oops, sorry. I said crap.

Added: It occurs to me that this topic could be about the politics of hate, spreading hate, encouraging anger instead of thoughtfully looking for solutions to problems. Creating strife for ratings to sell products as if our reality was a show or a sport. sigh. Some people can't handle it; they go off the deep end. Just some thoughts.

99% of the people out there who say this stuff in public are too dumb to actually pull it off, and are probably harmless to begin with, just don't understand that saying things like that in a public forum has real consequences. thank darwin for social media to weed out the idiots.

what are the real issues ? if threating to kill a president (or anybody else) on a public forum is not a real issue
then I would be intrested to hear what is...ummmm I remember someone on here threatend to kill me once but it's something I never thought too much about I just wrote it off as meaningless babble but then again I'm not the president

i think what the feline is trying to say, is that this "crap" is so sensationalized by the media and those on social media, it is easy for whackos to get in a frenzy. The campaigns do nothing to subdue the negative vibes.

Things like Norris saying Obama winning gets us 1000 years of darkness, the socialism claims, taking guns away, Romneys going to outsource every job, etc... (there are more specific claims on the incumbent naturally)

the underlined part is the truth. look at the anti obama rhetoric in 2008. mccain actually stopped his rally to tell a woman to her face that obama is not a muslim, that he is not kenyan, and that he is a good man that he only has political differences with. that was a great move by mccain imo. the onus is on the party leadership to get their psychos in line. if they do not do that, nobody ever will.

This girl is so disturbed (before she deleted her account, I read it, and WHOA NELLY! That is one mean 16 year old, just spewing hate from one end of the twitterverse to the other, and she appears to be stalking or harassing some poor ex boyfriend while she's at it. Her school has already had a meeting, and the secret service is already investigating.
