    It is nice to see mike get some praise. It sounds like that show was far from a sellout. Is that the case?

    gotta love the Jose Cardinel reference and that he was at the show.

    There were no seats sold behind the stage and they blocked off the very top section on the opposite end, so not a sellout. But the rest of the sections were packed.

    yeah, 13,000 people were there...wikipedia says it holds 21,000. what a shame florida was missing out...

    Well, the upper four sections farthest from the stage were tarped off. Behind the stage was also tarped off. Every other section was full (including the sections on the very side/behind of the stage). The arena was still impressively full for Tampa IMO.

    Is this status quo for Florida? I love Florida but if it is status quo and I was a band it would not be my first stop.

    The set was a mix of established favorites and lesser-known but still powerful numbers such as opener "Sometimes" and "Down," with Vedder's hopeful/desperate cry, "Don't let the darkness swallow me."

    Because those lyrics are correct.
