I'm meeting up with you next time. I didn't get there until 8pm  I was towards the center back and I kept making my way up trying to find the real PJ Fans.
If that was 20 years ago, I wouldn't have cared about pushing my way thru but at 43 I didn't want my husband in a fight with anyone
Definitely!!
I'm with you...I don't need to be up front, too old for that shit. It's all about the people that you're around is what I think. Next time we need to have a ladies meetup pre-show!!!!

I agree with your waste of space comment - at the last EV solo show I went to we had 4th row seats and the girl next to me was texting the ENTIRE show. I wanted to throw her damn phone at the wall!
I cannot understand why anyone would be texting. If Ed saw her, he would have ripped her a new ass :nono:
At MIA I brought my camera, took a couple pics and then put it in my backpack. I knew someone else would be putting youtube videos and pics up, I didn't want to take my eyes off the stage

Yeah, that's what I was thinking D. On the recent Europe tour, the shows I was at were about 50/50 men/women I'd say + yeah, about the same up the front & on the rail.dimitrispearljam wrote:at Europe shows women are almost the same as men..
and sure,at the rail, women are more!!!!

That's awesome!!

Im starting to feel old. When I hear of people say they are a die hard fan and been listening for 5-10 years WOW.
When I first started to follow the band 19 years ago it was more males around the age 14-20 The females that were into the band back them were more in LOVE with Eddie than they were in the music.
It has changed a lot since then. Seems like those girls that hung around still love Eddies looks but have now more love for the music.
I see a good 50/50 ratio of male/female. But its more funnier to see the older fans hanging with older fans looking at the youngsters and asking is that what we were like 20 years ago
I have noticed much younger "fans" and they seem to be more Female. or it could be I just dont care to notice the guys
Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...0 -

This is false, i offer this video as evidence, which does a pretty good job of scanning the crowd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6SIAHV5XvE0 -
+1 for the ladies! It seems like most of the women I know aren't into music at all. Maybe just to listen to something in the car or to work out to but to be completely, over the top crazy about - no way! I feel in the minority with most of my female friends. May be why most of my friends have tended to be male. Certainly can't wait for my show in ATL!Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?
Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

If I saw a bored girl up front at a PJ concert, I'd punch her and take her place.

As for girls at rock/metal shows, I feel like the ratio of girls who are there for the music and enjoying themselves, versus the girls who are there with their boyfriends or just there to wear fishnets and look "hot" is pretty off. With the exception of an unfortunate NKOTB concert when I was eight, I've always gone to rock/metal shows because I LIKED the music and wanted to have fun!0 -
I wear the 'PJ pants' in my relationship - my fella is the +1. I've spent the past 12 years trying to find his 'gateway song'.. thought I almost got there with 'Release' on PJ20... no cigar

Same Here....I brought my husband with me to MIA and he does have a new "appreciation" for them but definitely does not get it. I'm now trying to convert my 74 year old dad

My hubby has been into PJ for years but I am the one who is the die-hard fan. I don't care how old I am, at MIA I was jumping, dancing, singing, and totally enjoying myself. (carefully so I didn't knock into anyone's iPhone as they were filming

I was quite surprised of the number of females at the Copenhagen show. There were definitely more than i expected. But i wouldn't say 50/50 where i was standing.... i noticed because i had to do at lot of dancing and jumping to be able to see over the heads of all the guys in front of me - but i would probably have done that anyway.....

I think most of my women friends think I am disturbed  to like PJ. I don't think you could pay them enough money to get in the middle of that crowd and jump up and down singing and having the best time of your life! :PMake sure the fortune that you seek
