....... a song is like a fish, some you are fortunate to catch. I don't remember the way it was worded, but it was as if the song is already there, and as a songwriter he tries to "catch" it, like the songs that just "come to you" or whatever.

I'm trying to remember who said it, it was either Ed or Neil Young. I think Neil came up with it, but Ed spoke about in in an interview or something, but I can't remember for sure.

Anyone remember this?

    Not sure about the Ed or Neil quote but I remember Arlo Guthrie (son of Woody) once said:
