I changed a double pole wall switch at the folks house yesterday...
And for the LIFE OF ME I cant understand why I now have both set of lights operating from one switch...And not operating seperately!!!!
Is it all because I didnt remove that metal tab between the 2??? If you are familiar...You know which metal tab I am talking about.

Hook up the switch again...
And WALA!!! Now I only get one of the on/off switches to work!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF???
I go back to the hardware store...
Pick up a new switch...
Go back to the folks house...
And in 3 minutes I have it all set, and everything is fine...
the 1st double pole switch I bought...
Was the wrong type of switch, for what I needed....
2 days later...
2 trips to the store.....
68 miles of driving...
All for a simple fucking light switch???

My wife/my mom/my dad...
ALL telling me what they think I am doing wrong....
Between the 3 of them they have NO CLUE!!!! hehehehehehehehehe
