I'm not sure about the rest of the tour, but at least the Winnipeg show was moved from a 5000 capacity standing room only 18+ venue to an all ages 1200 seater. Got the email two days ago, and the show is in a week. Guess ticket sales weren't what they were expecting.
That's what you get when you do a greatest hits tour! If you had done a Core in its entirety tour, like you mislead your fans you were doing when tickets went on sale, this would have sold out instantly!
Good thing I sold my tickets to this weeks ago. Hope the guy I sold them to finds out about this!

Not sure a Core tour would have made a difference. Isn't that album basically their greatest hits?
Yea I feel like every show they play is a greatest hits show
2010: Newark 5/18 MSG 5/20-21 2011: PJ20 9/3-4 2012: Made In America 9/2
2013: Brooklyn 10/18-19 Philly 10/21-22 Hartford 10/25 2014: ACL10/12
2015: NYC 9/23 2016: Tampa 4/11 Philly 4/28-29 MSG 5/1-2 Fenway 8/5+8/7
2017: RRHoF 4/7 2018: Fenway 9/2+9/4 2021: Sea Hear Now 9/18
2022: MSG 9/11 2024: MSG 9/3-4 Philly 9/7+9/9 Fenway 9/15+9/17
This statement is confusing. If they mislead fans that they were doing Core then why didn't tix sell out instantly?
Whoever misses the show is missing a great one. Probably not a show to see more than once or twice but still a great band with plenty of great tunes to fill a 90 minute slot. It's sad that they're ignoring so many great songs, though.

I saw them in NYC that year and it was the best Ive seen of them too. Also saw them in 2000 and 2008.

I bought tickets the minute they were on sale thinking it was a Core tour. It was finally rectified about a week later that it wasn't. they've been here enough times lately that it wasn't going to sell out regardless. my final statement was tongue in cheek.
I have seen them 2 times since they got back together. Once when they reunited before "Peace" came out, no new tunes. Then when "Peace" came out. Some new tunes, but still less than a 90 minute show (festival). So them doing ANOTHER greatest hits tour with no new songs and apparently playing just over an hour is a waste of money for people in my position, no matter how good they are live.
I find it so odd that they NEVER came here during their first run, and have now been here 3 times in as many years since their reunion.

SP is doing a show at Stubb's here. It holds less than 3,000.
