I love the Stones but I think PJ should do LESS covers altogether and play/write more of their own music.

I love a good cover, and think PJ and the individual members do plenty of their own work to keep me happy. But not the Stones. Their songs are too well known. I prefer to hear covers that aren't so common. Like their cover of A Quick One with My Morning Jacket, Crown of Thorns, It's OK, shit like that. I like covers to be a surprise and of a lesser known song or kind of unexpected. I would LOVE if PJ did that more. As well as with my feelings about The Stones; i don't really like them in the first place. So obviously that colours my opinion of the idea!

I just like to see a good rock song, and the Stones have some great ones. I agree that they shouldn't cover "Brown Sugar" or "Paint It Black," but the songs that have been recommended, generally, are lesser known Stones songs. The ones I picked, I did so because I can hear Ed's voice singing instead of Mick's.
