It is a lot of fun to give stuff away.... I enjoy doing it (as my wife does) and always want people in here to know how much you mean to us..
From my very first day of admittance into this brother hood (1992 summer, with that opening cord of Alive I heard. With the "what the hell is this song?". :-) ) I have felt great love for the band...
From then to today I have tried to enlighten as many people I can with the band. Including my nephew who is a senior now in high school... with his occasional text of "hey uncle Matty, give me a Pearl Jam song I don't know but will like...". In that time the kid has learned about Immortality, Present Tense, Sometimes... To name a few...
In the end, Pearl Jam will live its life as a band but never know me. Never know most of us... Most of us with the same passion for them that we share...
But for the 30 people who I am friends with thru 10C and functions I have something in common till the day all of us move down the long road.
For that I am immensely grateful.
