To stay open

Today, with awareness of the process
I'd like to expand into a state of love
open my shutters and send soul-electric-pulses out for miles
press-a-button-reset after feeling overwhelmed
sink gratefully into my backyard cement bowl full of liquid
to float like a fetus in warmth
small reward for doing what's necessary
state of mind, state of heart
they are closely related
exhaustion is the problem sometimes
feeling crushed by the outside world, socially jostled
I'd like to learn to separate from the work days
(on the days I can be alone)
I need the space to feel love and stay open
maybe I also need to plant a dense forest of trees in my side yard?
