whatever you do, create a new folder & copy the original into it before you convert & then just convert 1 of the folders to mp3

I personally haven't converted a FLAC-HD file...I've heard that if you have a MAC you can use MAX: convert to apple lossless>wav>mp3... http://sbooth.org/Max/ ...maybe Dimi knows of another one

    Please help...

If I download the HD flac or just the FLAC and then covert that down to mp3....will that be any different than just downloading the mp3???

    Will I notice the difference??

Listening mainly on half decent in earphones.

    Any advice appreciated!

Try Flac Frontend. http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm . Drap the .flac files and it will give extract the .wav files.

Then use any freeware MP3 encoder. I still like to use mkwACT Audio Compression Tool http://etree.org/mkw.html . Convert those .wav files to .mp3 files.

    Hope that works.
