Crazy that it’s been 11 years. The ‘RNDM Years’ were a fun time.

I listened to Acts for the first time in a long time today (the first time I’ve listened to anything by Joseph Arthur since he went off the reservation). It’s still a solid album, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d hoped.

It was nice to see both Jeff and Joe in the comments on Richard’s post though.

Even if there won’t ever be another RNDM record (and based on Joe’s post-pandemic releases that may be a good thing…) it just felt nice to see them both acknowledging the good times.

Saw RNDM in Montreal & Toronto back in 2012. They were both amazing shows.

    Wish the experience never ended.

I caught the Boston stops in support of each album... met Jeff & Joe after the Acts show... great albums, great band, great shows...

I still listen to them on a pretty regular basis too.

Good times, met Jeff, caught 2 shows. With Dave's help I may be one of the only ppl to have all the picks used by Jeff and Joe both tours :glasses:

Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

...congrats. photo? 2nd time I saw them I ended up with another green after chatting with Joseph A's sound dude. Me: 'HI do you have any new color picks?" Him 'I think there is just green and yellow. (Handed me one out of his pocket). Told me to ask Joe for the others if he had them. I  chilled off that and had him and Richard sign my poster. Didn't meet Jeff. After I got home, my bud sent me a picture with Jeff. He won fanboy of the night while I was home in bed. Great times! May listen to them again soon. Right that the 2 records may just have been perfect life for them.
Richard is a beast on his small kit live. I swore his set was just gonna explode.

End of short story made long...

I loved how played the album front to back on the GR tour (at least in Boston).

IMO that's something not enough bands / artists do. I get why many don't, but having seen several bands do it now, I think it's a really cool idea.

Yep. Did it in nyc too. Was great way to experience it. I got setlist that the legendary @Suziemay was kind enough to send me a copy of hers.  ❤️ ❤️
had ja sign it at a solo gig. Frankly wish he'd backpeddle on whatever opinions he's been offending lot's with. I don't pay attention and try to separate personal ideas from music. His live guitar looping/playing is phenomenal and time should make all the nonsense evaporate.
    Whatever.
    Love you all

See I don't usually like this. Something weird about knowing what songs are coming in order.

That was a little diff because I didn't know ghost riding yet. Maybe wasn't released?
Thought that way too. Saw pj 10 show and felt was sickened with amazingness. Blew my mind.  Plus it was a kicking long show with plenty of mystery tunes to follow.

I know what you mean though

I still love RNDM. They're still in my regular rotation, especially Ghost Riding. I was just spinning that this morning.

I totally get this, and would traditionally share this opinion, but over the years I’ve seen Primus / Seas of Cheese, PJ / Ten, QOTSA / self titled & Pixies / Doolittle and they were some of the greatest shows I’ve seen. Wouldn’t want to see it all the time, but now & again it’s fun, at least when it’s an album I love.
