Prior to the show, I thought that there was a good chance that one of the Gorge shows would be released on DVD. But with no acoustic pre-set, I'm not too sure anymore.

But let's take a look, Ed didn't go on very many rants (especially politcal ones). And jusdging from the other DVDs, I think they band might want to stay away from releasing political opinions on DVD in th einterest of others. Plus, the setlist was pretty different from L@TG.

Even FLow
I Am Mine
Black
Daughter
Crown of Thorns
Baba
and Yellow LEdbetter were the only repeats.

I don't know though, the crowd seemed pretty chilled because of the weather. What does everyone else think? I think there's still a chance, but I think they may throw a Europe show on DVD, those fuckers are crazy! especially in the East
Add your benaroya vinyl # to the list!!!

I'm still dehydrated from those 2 days!! I think I drank 2 cases of water in 3 days out there! But I would love to see a DVD of it in a heartbeat! Bring on the Gorge!

yeah, I'm still recovering physically from the Gorge, lol

would love any PJ show on DVD, either Gorge show is fine with me, as for political rants, it doesn't matter, they can edit anything, but I don't think Ed was trying to hold back or anything
"Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)

    NEED MORE RANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    SHOW COUNT: (159) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=103, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=2, Australia=2
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    Upcoming:   Aucklandx2, Gold Coast, Melbournex2

  • wait, they wouldn't release a DVD with political rants in the interest of who exactly???
  • Showbox - what about Ed going off during Daughter w/ the "War, what is it good for"

MSG - Gimmie Some Truth w/ the "No Blood for Oil" line and not really a rant or political, but the band that tastes like a popsicle that was shoved up someone’s ass may have hurt someone’s feelings.
  • I think the S.F shows have a bigger chance of getting released as a DVD.
i saw cameras the entire time, once when Eddie was recording Sonic Youth himself on the actual floor where the fans were--he was disguised in only a hat with all of his hair stuffed into it. One of the guys actually taping told me that he wished my Jeff signs said something about "Pearl Jam" on them because he was looking for a sign that said that... for what i dont know, but the next night i made sure to have SENROCK make me one that said Pearl Jam on it and he did record it. Those were amazing shows with special guests ( the singer and guitarist for the Avengers and Lee from Sonic Youth)
    I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE
That would be so freaking incredible.

they also played Bushleaguer in San Fran too...so that goes along with this theory.

wishfull thinking will make everything look like a sign that a DVD will be made!
  • oh, i looooved SF II, my favorite of the three san francisco shows - and i got a set list, a definite hilight of my trip!! would love to see them released, a trilogy(sp) perhaps??
