His voice sounds great this year. Check out the video on spin for breakerfall at hartford. The opening verse sounds almost EXACTLY like it did from 2000. I was pretty amazed he pulled it off so well 8 years later.

I can't choose between fast or slow. I love "speed" Wash circa 92 . I also love the it's 116 at Gorge or it's hot and humid in Mansfield ; with the vocal styling sounding like someone desperate for a little relief from the heat. Wash , any version, will always be one of my top two openers. Crazy Mary, Philly 03 style, would be the other.

    I love Wash!!!

Mansfield was the 1st time I've seen it live... I was at the Gorge show the night they played it but I was stuck in the 10C line trying to get in the venue..so I missed it.. it sounded amazing.

How I wished they played this at MSG or at Hartford...Slow or fast versions are great...The music and Eddie's voice makes WASH so special...The Intensity and aggression that builds up in both versions...are priceless...
Thanks for the link on the video on youtube.

I dont know what it was about Mansfield II, but for a lot of the songs Eddie was just dancing around stage and singing intensely like it was the early 90's. Never seen him like that at a show. It was awesome obviously.

7 shows including 1st row right in front of Mike in Tampa( amp volume was low!) and Wash opening in Mansfield was my favorite moment of the tour. What a great ride, I love this band!

Absolutely beautiful! I went apeshit when Mansfield 2 opened with WASH! I was punching this guys arm so hard he had to actually shake me a little bit in order to stop me from bruising his arm like a madwoman.
