    Trolling but I'll bite.

I'd say 2016. The University of Colorado model has Romney winning and it hasn't been wrong but it has Romney winning every swing state, which just isn't going to happen. I'll take Nate Silver's analysis more. He has it tightening over the past week or so but still has Romney at a 33% chance of winning.

Close and depends on what poll you look at. The pollster model which takes hundereds of polls into consideration has Obama with about a 2 point lead nationally. Like I said Nate Silver is only giving Romney a 1 in 3 chance of winning right now.

Polls are pretty meaningless right now, this has the right idea... incorporating state-based economics into the race, and the model has never been wrong:

it says - winner - Mitt Romney.

Regardless of who wins though, we all lose. They both suck.
Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

Down to one this morning. His Vice Pres selection only strengthened him. And since he's the incumbant that's about as slim as you can make it. :corn:

And I object to the trolling comment. I mean if someone is going to post that "alternative lifestyle" escorts were booked up becasue the Republicans were coming to town I think this is more than fair.

It will all depend on what the voters are worried about on election day, and a long time of stupid ads and distractions to try and get them to think if something else is ahead of us before we get there.

If Obama is successful at getting Americans to blame people that are well off for the economy, or if Obama is successful at distracting the american people from the economy by talking about tax returns, abortion in the case of rape, dogs on car roofs, etc, then Obama will win and win pretty easily.

If not, it;s going to be really close and I'd give Mitt a solid chance.

My belief is Obama will be successful in deflecting blame and distracting and he will win re-election.

If the republicans would really be for limited government - reduce spending (including defense), completely overhaul the tax system (simple 1 or 2 rates, eliminate loopholes and deductions, etc), continue the overhaul of entitlement programs, AND get out of people's personal lives (gay marriage, etc.) then I think the republicans would gain control of the government for literally decades, maybe several of them.

This is the one I was referring to. But it also has every single swing state going to Romney, which as you know, just isn't going to happen.

The AP poll is the one that has it at one. Pollster takes the AP and over 400 other polls into consideration. I go by that one as it is the most complete. Ryan hasn't given him that much of a bump aside from a small one in Wisconsin.

I always like this comment...however the Democrats certainly like to get into people's personal lives via their wallet.:lol:

This is the best for polling info and chances. He was 49 of 50 in 2008.

  • Im serious here..
I want you Moving Trainers to help me here...

Seems to me, the nation voted for Obama last election...
    Based on his IMAGE...Correct?
Not truly based on his accomplishments, but more so based on an image...Im sure you know what I mean.

    Anyway

Given the State of the nation after 8 years of Bush...
How has Obama made a difference in the last 4 years?
    What has changed?
    What has improved?
    Economy?
    Unemployment?
    Debt?

    Are we improving under Obama?

    And I am serious.
    Please give me some information.

    Thank You

FYI - people are going to blame the republicans in congress for blocking Obama at everything. You know, despite them only having control for 2 years of the 4. They will say the first 2 were filabuster and the last 2 were republican control.

Obama doesn't do any wrong. It's the 1%'s fault, the republicans in congress fault, anyone making over $250,000 fault...it's funny.

You're going to get so many bars and graphs to answer your post it will make your head spin. For me it comes down to this. Has my situation improved over the last four years becasue of this administration? If you say yes...stay the course. If you say no...vote for change.
