the original
the lost & the new
this is exactly white walled & what is unescapable
solid & held at lip level

movement requires permission
laughter isn't & without invitation
protection
unrestored & never has been
nor will it ever be

this inside all our skulls
decades the only one we could have
yours is yours trying
mine mine crying
the dirty the empty well shared
in this revolution
against the big hill

all the trees up & green sail blue sky
down here
cold soil sells our dreams
to sheep
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
