politics before national security eh? Another example of how our countries biggest national security threat comes from within. Barack Hussein Obama.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former CIA and Special Operations members are announcing the creation of OPSEC, a new nationwide public campaign to combat the spike in leaks and politicization of Intelligence and Special Operations missions that threaten their effectiveness and the safety of Americans who conduct them. OPSEC – short for Operational Security, meaning to eliminate or reduce the exploitation of critical information -- will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a new documentary short film highlighting the problem from the perspective of those who have served in these critical positions. The film will also serve as the basis for a TV and online advertising effort.
"Intelligence and Special Operations members are angry and frustrated at how our work has been used for political advantage by officials across government, including President Obama himself who bears special responsibility as Commander in Chief," said Scott Taylor, chairman of OPSEC and a former Navy SEAL. "We want the American people to understand the cost of these leaks and politicization both on those who serve and on our national security and to hold those in positions of leadership accountable if it doesn't stop."
OPSEC is made up of individuals who served their country in the CIA, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) consisting of Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Corps and Air Force Special Operations. It is organized as a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan public education campaign and is independent of any political party or campaign organization.
The campaign will begin with the release of "Dishonorable Disclosures," a documentary short film that views the impact of the increasing number of leaks on Intelligence and Special Operations missions, tradecraft, tactics and capabilities from the perspective of those who have relied on these tools to carry out similar missions and protect themselves and those they served alongside. The film will be shown at events in key states across the country over the next several months, including Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Nevada. "Dishonorable Disclosures" can be seen at http://www.OpSecTeam.org.
"Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk," said Fred Rustmann, an OPSEC member and 24-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency. "OPSEC will carry a strong message across the country that it's time for President Obama and other administration officials to stop jeopardizing national security operations for political gain."
You down with OPSEC? Yeah, you know me.
WOOT for OPSEC.
STFU OBAMA!

Too bad this group is not on the up and up.

And trust me these are "my people"...but their "movie" is just that "a movie" full of half-truths and mock sensationalism.
Peace.0 -
so, you are cool with the leaks and you think this has no effect on how other countries will deal with us on a go forward?
And you think Barack Hussein Obama killed Usama Bin Laden? He did say "I" like 30 plus times in the briefing right?0 -
Please read the Politifact article...this group took liberties with what you are calling "leaks"...they were not leaks at all.0
-
I do not know your background and you do not know mine...but I can tell you I have experiences that place me very close to situations like this. Everything is not always what it seems, my friend.0
-
Romney joins other Republicans, like Sen. John McCain, in openly faulting Obama for the leaks. Calling the purposeful release of classified information "contemptible," Romney said, "It betrays our national interest. It compromises our men and women in the field. And it demands a full and prompt investigation by a special counsel, with explanation and consequence."0
-
In (I'm sure) your vast knowledge of Special Ops what was released that jeopardizes agents in the field?0
-
Obama's leaks did the following:
-The doctor in Pakistan has been sentenced to 33 years in prison for helping us locate bin Laden; he may be dead for all we know. These leaks resulted in an asset possibly losing his life.
-British intelligence services, MI6 and MI5 have been compromised.
-Navy SEAL operational methods have been compromised.
-Iran now knows more about how we conduct cyber warfare than ever before, and how to take steps to prevent it.
-our enemies have been given access to top secret processes.
-our allies have said they are less likely to work with Obama in the future because trust is gone.
The F.B.I. appears to be focused on recent media disclosures on American cyberattacks on Iran, a terrorist plot in Yemen that was foiled by a double agent and the so-called “kill list” of terrorist suspects approved for drone strikes, some of those interviewed have told colleagues. The reports, which set off a furor in Congress, were published by The New York Times, The Associated Press, Newsweek and other outlets, as well as in recent books by reporters for Newsweek and The Times.
“Everybody in the intelligence world agrees that we have never seen so many high-level leaks,” said Mark M. Lowenthal, a former assistant director of the C.I.A. “But this is the wrong solution.”0 -
Again this is saying that these "leaks"...I want to see the actual leaked statements. If they were in fact leaked you should be able to find them. I want the "leaks" themselves...not what someone said the leaks resulted in. This means nothing it is an opinion. Please post WHAT was actaully leaked. You can try, but I tell you right now you won't find it becuase it does not exist. You will find nothing that says "this is a typical tactical method used by the MI5 or Navy SEAL team 6, or Delta Force"...that would be a leak. I am open to changing my mind, if I can see a piece of actual information that was leaked, not opinions about "what was leaked"...what is the actual leak?0

-Navy SEAL operational methods have been compromised. WITH WHAT STATEMENT-Iran now knows more about how we conduct cyber warfare than ever before, and how to take steps to prevent it. WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY "KNOW"-
our enemies have been given access to top secret processes. WHAT TOP SECRET INFO DO THEY HAVE THAT WOULD THEN BE NOT TOP SECRET ANYMORE...IF IT IS LEAKED, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND IT.

Dishonorable Disclosures
Intelligence and Special Operations forces are furious and frustrated at how President Obama and those in positions of authority have exploited their service for political advantage. Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk.
The unwarranted and dangerous public disclosure of Special Forces Operations is so serious -- that for the first time ever -- former operators have agreed to risk their reputations and go 'on the record' in a special documentary titled "Dishonorable Disclosures." Its goal is to educate America about serious breaches of security and prevent them from ever happening again.
Use of military ranks, titles & photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement of the Dept of the Army or the Department of Defense. All individuals are no longer in active service with any federal agency or military service.
Well now that this out the Romney+Ryan ticket are now a gaurantee to win the Presidency.
Woot, WOOT! Good for you.

This still has no details about what EXACTLY was leaked...they are vague satements that SOMETHING was leaked but no one seems to know what EXACTLY was said or written that would endanger anybody. I am still waiting for the EXACT piece of information that was leaked...not that SOMETHING was released.0 -

FBI director Robert S. Mueller III disclosed that the FBI is investigating leaks to the news media about the recently disrupted plot by Al Qaeda’s Yemen affiliate to smuggle a bomb designed to be concealed in underwear onto a U.S. bound jet.
The plans for the attack, which featured a more sophisticated version of the device the “underwear bomber” of Christmas 2009 was arrested with, were first revealed by the AP. But a day later, it was revealed that the individual at the center of the plot was a double agent working for Britain’s MI-6 secret intelligence service and the CIA along with Saudi Arabian intelligence assets.
“We have initiated an investigation into this leak,” Mueller testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. “Leaks such as this threaten ongoing operations, puts at risk the lives of sources, makes it much more difficult to recruit sources, and damages our relationships with our foreign partners.”“Leaks such as this have a — I don’t want overuse the word ‘devastating’ — but have a huge impact on our ability to do our business, not just on a particular source and the threat to the particular source, but your ability to recruit sources is severely hampered,” Mueller said, describing the implications of the leak of sensitive national security information.
Mueller continued, “In cases such as this, your – the relationship with your counterparts overseas are damaged and which means that an inhibition in the willingness of others to share information with us where they don’t think that information will remain secure. So it also has some long-term effects, which is why it is so important to make certain that the persons who are responsible for the leak are brought to justice.”
The investigation is likely being run by the Justice Department’s counterespionage section and agents from the FBI’s Washington Field Office.
Justice Department officials and an FBI spokesman declined to comment on the nature of the investigation. The CIA also declined comment.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is also conducting a review with the DNI’s general counsel to see if the leaks originated in any of the 16 agencies that DNI James Clapper oversees.
Earlier in the day Matthew Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, addressed the issue of media leaks relating to the plot and called it “devastating.”
“Leaks do endanger people’s lives … that is not an exaggeration,” Olsen said, speaking before the American Bar Association’s standing Committee on Law and National Security, in Washington, D.C.0 -

Rock on...we are getting closer, but Mueller says nothing that this came "from the Obama Administration"...in fact, "Obama" appears in here nowhere. Keep trying, my man...I appreciate your tenacity.0 -
