He has been a presidential candidate since the beginning... yet, he became the front runner only after front runners Michelle Bachmann, John Huntsman, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, (Donald Trump), Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum all dropped out... and this list does not include Sarah Palin or Rudy Guliani.
I wonder... WHY wasn't Romney the front runner the entire time?

    it's a contest reality show maxim that you must build up suspense throughout the season to get the big ratings for the finale
