Anybody here ever eat at Charlie Trotter's? The wife and I have reservations nest week. I have read up about the menu and wine/ juice pairings. What if I don't want wine or juice? Can I just get diet coke?

I think that would be frowned upon. Maybe I can sneak in a flask under my jacket.

I hear the backstory is that Charlie was pissed off because Michelin didn't give him his fifth star. So, he is closing down shop. My wife has wanted to eat here for a long time. Thus, we are hitting it up before they close down.

Holy citrus rape. Fuck them. I take back my last post. Anyone with the audacity to charge $65 for juice deserves a bitchslap. :fp: Bring your diet coke and a box of your own favorite desert wine.
