*my own family dont know what my job is!!!!oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

I thought Liz wanted to be a bird...or is that what she became? :think:The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I do remember saying this to people in response to their "what do you want to be when you grow up"
My mom would say "I think they mean like a nurse or something" : and I would think "the heck with that, I wanna be a bird"0 -
Didn't know what I wanted to do, just what I didn't. I have NEVER wanted to sit behind a desk, pushing meaningless paper while wearing a suit and tie. And except for one miserable year, I have totally succeeded!!
I've been a Recreation supervisor, carpenter/leadman in TV/film, now a dog trainer and breeder. No dress code just shorts and and t-shirts, sleeves optional.
Cheers,

Didn't you hear?
We traded the entire team + cash to Saint Arnold's for a couple of cases of #DR12.
Honestly I think the Astro's got the better deal. But to your benefit, I think they're holding tryouts to fill the void....Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
When I was 5 I wanted to be a waitress because we used to go to a neighborhood diner every weekend and I adored one of the waitresses there, she reminded me of Mae West (so, maybe I just really wanted to grow up to be Mae West
).
Then when I was about 7-8 I wanted to be an archaeologist because I believed it would be just like the Indiana Jones movies. :fp:
Then when I was 12-15, I wanted to be the first woman president of the US. I guess I can still do this, since the US still hasn't had a woman president yet and I'm officially old enough to be president.
Then in college I had dreams of being a writer/English professor.
Today, I have a very exciting career as a Project Manger.  Might be time to reevaluate what I want to be when I grow up!!I lost a bet...0 -

Never really has any vocational aspirations as a kid!
As a teenager, I wanted to work in the music biz. I became a CPA, which has allowed me to work with bands, so it worked out indirectly!0
