I had the chance to see them at terminal 5 in NYC a week or so ago. None of my freinds were willing to go since it was last minute. I was willing to go alone but decided not to.... I hate myself for this.

I downloaded Four a few days before the show.... thoughts? The softer songs are better than the harder ones. But the good hard ones are the opener, octopus, and Team A. My personal favorite has to be Real Talk.

Huge indie fan here. I was waiting for someone to start a new thread on this.

i saw them in 05 for silent alarm, then again maybe in 07 or 06.

Silent Alarm is hands down a modern classic. 10/10.

they have completely lost me since then. I bought weekend in hopes it would be in the same vein. Couldn't get into it.

I'm happy playing Silent Alarm every six months and loving it.

listening to it now, so far not too bad after one listen. Def. not their best album but a solid album nonetheless.

I've seen them twice. Once in '05 and again in '09. Think they are great live band.

for anybody who's mind has slipped bloc party for a few years i would urge you to buy 'four'

planning on going to see them on oct 13th in leeds

I'm seeing them on Saturday. They moved venues on us philly folk though. They were suppose to play the Tower Theater but I guess not enough tix were sold and they moved it to a smaller venue, The Troc. Tix will be honored of course. Since the show got moved tix are now cheaper than they were at first. I refunded my original tix and bought the newer ones for cheaper. Still looking forward to it. They are a fun live band and really looking forward to hearing some of the new songs live like Kettling, Coliseum, and 3x3.

They have found the keys 2 the room that had all of their guitars locked in it

Saw them down here in Oz at the end of July - they were in top form!!!
They opened with 3x3 and totally rocked it.

Hope u guys both enjoy the shows...

saw them last night. I forgot how great they were live. They didn't play 3x3 (I think that song would sound great live), but did play 5 songs off the new album. So He Begins To Lie (first song they played), Kettling, Coliseum, We Are Not Good People, and Healing (first time ever played live). Also played a lot off their first two albums and like one or two off Intimacy.

Liking the new album (although not as good as the previous ones).

Saw them live in 2006, 2008 and 2009. Gonna try and see them either Nov. 8 in Milan or Nov. 15 in Munich.
