Help! Where would you rather sit?

I'm thinking about going to the Cincinnati show, but since I can't get my ten club tickets anymore, I was wondering what seats would be best.

One set of tickets is directly across the stage at the opposite end of the arena (about 5th row). The other set is right beside the stage (about 20th row).

I think the one's right beside the stage would be best, but not sure if these seats are acctually a little beside the stage. If anyone has any experience with these kind of seats please let me know what you think would be the better seats.

Thanks

I'd definately go with side stage...I think next time I get my 10c seats I'm gonna try and trade with someone for some side stage seats, cause I was about 18 rows back on the floor for the Toronto shows, and I think I enjoyed the side stage seats that I got last year much better. I'm not too tall, so the view from the floor isn't great, plus security is a bit too tight for my liking on the floor.
Its always better to be closer IMO (as long as you have a decent view), so I'd definately go with the side stage seats.

    Peace

DEFINITELY side stage. You get to see so much more of the band's interaction. The sound might not be as good, but the overall experience is 10 times better than being far away. Of course, binoculars are always an option if you'd rather have better sound.

Just comparing prices, looks like side stage seats generally go for 2-3 times the price of those other seats I mentioned. Seems like it's still worth it to be side stage though.

Next best thing to being in the first 5-10 rows on the floor.
I had side for both NJ shows - INCREDIBLE seats.

just to offer a different viewpoint....depending on how close you are on the side, sitting directly infront of the stage is nice even though you might be farther away. the best analogy i can think of is: would you rather watch a movie by sitting in front of the screen or to the side of it.

    good luck

Definitely prefer side stage...had side stage, Mike's side, about 23 rows up in Cleveland and it was actually a great view....you can see all the interaction between the band members and watch the fans in the first few rows....I had seats across the arena from the stage in Denver 2003, and it was much harder to see anything...

definately side. if you're up a few rows, you get a great view of the whole stage and it's so much fun to see the things that not everyone else can see, especially those far off or those on the floor.

I had 11th row caddy corner to the stage on Saturday and I didn't miss anything that happened on that stage.

oh by the way, can't bring binoculars to the shows this time around, don't know why but that's what I heard

    enjoy yourself

  • I did both for the NJ shows.. Def. go side! you get a great view of the light effects from across - but the closer you are, the better.

    Thanks everyone,
guess I should look into those side stage seats. Looking at the venue map, the section is right beside the stage, so not sure if I'll be behind them at all. Has anyone been in that section that is parallel to the stage? It looks like the section that is parallel to the first row on the floor would be the best section, but I can't find any of those tickets for sale.

Side for sure. I set side stage at DC in the 15th row or so and it was a great view.

From the far end across from the stage you won't be able to see shit.

SIDE STAGE RULES!!! I had top balcony, row 1 seats for the Chicago I show directly next to the stage...best view I've ever had. Plus Eddie usually walks the perimeter of the stage and looks at everybody.

  • If you call ticketmaster with the specific seat numbers you are looking at, they can tell you the order which the seats are numbered in within a row... so you can tell if you are towards the front of the stage, or if the seats are further back and 'behind' the front of the stage.

I got side stage tix to both Denver shows... about 10 rows up... aisle seats, and they are almost parallel with the front of the stage. The best part was they were 30 less than floor seats! I have a single floor 11 rows back for the second night... so I guess I have to make a decision about which one to use the second night...
  • Side Stage, even slightly behind the stage is better

Whenever I sit on the other end of the arena I always feel I am not part of the show

Outside of the first 10 rows, Side Stage are the best seats...
