Which Show Is PJ's Best Ever in Canada?

I've been to 10 shows over the past 10 years, from 9.21.96 at Maple Leaf Gardens to most recently 5.10.06 at the ACC obviously both in Toronto so I've seen my share of shows in Ontario but 0 in any other province.

Apparently Montreal 98' was a good show but the stand out from that show seemed to be Hard to Imagine which I saw in London ON in 05'.

Personally, I'd have to go with Kitchener 05' due to the size of the venue, if you were there you know what I'm talking about. Going from Molson Park in Barrie 98' with 35,000 strong to a crowd of approx 6,800 in the Aud is quite a step.

I'm sure there will be alot of responses from the 05' tour which is why this is the BEST EVER thread. Going back to Lollapooloza, which show was the best?
The last PJ show I went to was the best PJ show ever, that is until they come around again of course

  • I have only went to the Van03, Van05, and Cal05 shows. Obviously I have loved every one of them. If I had to pick one though, I would go with Calgary. It was insane.

General consensus is that Ottawa 05 is the best from the Canadian Tour. A few others are worthy of mention, specifically Winnipeg, Halifax and Calgary.

halifax '05 was amazing. toronto '05 was great too. :)
  • Toronto, September 19, 2005.
Awesome setlist, and crowd was jumping and loud. I had rearview seats,
10 rows up, behind the band. That was some energy!

out of the four I've seen it's down to Calgary 05 and Vancouver 03, I might be biased because vancouver was the first time I ever saw them but I remember it being a great set, SOLAT, better man tag. Ed solo pre set. I think Stone broke his guitar during you are.

    Halifax, to the MAX!!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Amazing setlist, one of the best Blacks ever.

i love that show, my fave boot from the 05 nth america leg
  • Montreal 1998 is the best i've seen and/or heard. It's been said before here, but i also agree that this was the best and loudest crowd you could imagine. Plus the general feeling on the stage was electric, it was a HUGE Mike McCready night, something like 5 No Codes songs, Hard To Imagine, amazing setlist...
