Ever wondered what it would be like to have an active, snow-covered volcano in your back yard? This is in Pucon, Chile, and at night you can see the lava bubbling at the top of the volcano

Goldrush, I love that second picture with the steam AND all the snow.
Thanks. It was pretty amazing to see, we were staying in a hostel in Pucon and didn't even realise the volcano was there until our second day. We just thought it was a snow-covered mountain until we saw it erupting at night!

It seems like you've travelled to a lot of places with beautiful scenery. Put up some more pictures!
A few more from the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand.
The hike up to the top of Mount Ngauruhoe
This almost looks unreal.
This was taken on Mount Tongariro, an active volcano, looking across towards Mount Ngauruhoe.
The Tongariro Crossing is a 19km hike that passes over the top of the volcano and has some of the most amazing views I've ever seen. It's hard to describe them. Apparently the hike should take around 7 hours but I'm sure we took a lot longer because we kept stopping to stare at the scenery!

I didn't take this one... because the figure on the bike in the middle of the shot (near the bend) is me!
