The Gaslight Anthem...

I got the newest album "Handwritten" on Blue Vinyl.

But, I can't seem to get into it. I've listened to it 4 times now (the last 3 times were sort of forced) in hopes that a lightbulb would go off :roll:

    Really? I think it's deadly. It's not the 59 Sound but it still has a lot of hooks I can't get out of my head. Right now my favorite tune on it is Keepsake. But that's always changing...

    Give it time, it's good but I feel ya. I like Brendan's production just not w/ Gaslight. The songs play much better live. Actually, that goes for PJ as well. :?: The bonus tracks are great too.

    I'm not saying its bad... its not bad. It just doesn't excite me in any way at all.
    Everything seems to be in line for this to be a great band... maybe its something I should try when I'm in an entirely different mood.

    I didn't like the Black Keys at first either, and now I love them.

    Just bought all their albums, threw it on shuffle and just let it play.. I'm a fan now. New album is good..
