So a friend of mine, who is a lesbian, and in a long term relationship asked me today donate some of my swimmers...


It was a light hearted conversation.. More so putting the 'feelers' out there...

    My friend did this,she is straight her 'donater' is gay both were single,had been friends for many years and had discussed often that they both wanted children.
    They did the who turkey baster thing and they now have a boy 9 and a girl 6.It has worked very well for them.

    Maybe awkward for you if she has never mentioned this to you before?

    it would be a huge jesture on your part. But potenially wierd if you end up bumping into the child down the road knowing this child from you. Would they ever tell the child who the faather is and would you be ready for that?

    I had heard her mention in the past that they were going to look for a donor and they wanted it to be someone they knew...

    As for jesture, I am not the type of person who could have someone who I helped create out there without me being a part of their life. At the same time, this is not how I would envisage being a father nor am I ready for it...

    I mean, if they were of the fantasy variety I'd be like 'I'll just join in and lets see what happens' but alas they're not...
