i can't watch video at work, but i am going to go out on a limb here and say that there is nothing romney can say to dissuade people from voting for him because there are elements of the population that will vote for him just because his middle name is not hussein...

Comment on it anyway in a trolling fashion.

Now, on topic. I saw the video and would like to comment on it. I think if this video doesn't crush Romeny's ambitons to be President, the one calling him a murderer will.

    That is a great video.

Made me realize that if Mitt form 4 year sago was on this ballot, he'd likely get my vote and I would think he would kill Obama and MItt2.0. ;)

Not as many as will vote for BO because of his skin color. So what's your point? Is that that there are a lot of idiots that vote for stupid reasons? If so, I agree.

nice contribution to the thread. both of 'em.

Back on topic now. Romeny has evolved in some of his postions based on his positions.

but the difference is he doesn't say he has evolved he pretty much just never mentions that he had a different opinion and keeps changing it... it's ok for something to evolve but he hasn't ever admitted that he has evolved it's just ignored.

I think this is certainly the case in some of those instances. I think in some others the opposition is attempting to simply everything too much. In matters that are not a like for like change from then until now, small difference can change ones opinion.

yeah the republicans are trying to keep them from voting, so there will be less than you think.

Funny thing, I wish we could keep people that vote based upon skin color...either way...from voting. I'd be ok with that. ;)

Truth is whether you like it or not.... unless the Fed unleashes QE3 and the EU temporarily stabilizes, and the business community gets duped into a false sense of security... this dude is probably your new President.

The current one is walking an economic tightrope with a noose around his neck. He needs anything he can get to raise the economic well-being (or the tightrope), or he's done (he's currently being strangled). For him, his Presidency may actually depend on Europe. I wouldn't place any faith in Europe.

This side tactic nonsense, Chick Fil A and gay marriage - A Georgetown law student's need for free contraceptives - or anything to do with gun control - won't stop voters from voting on the economy - whether it's saying yeh Barry O's policies have worked or Barry O's policies have not. He still has time to change their mind, however. American voters think in the short term.

It's interesting that George Bush the First validates all your statements:

    1) In February of his re-election year he had THE highest approval rating (92%+ something) of any President before or since (since they started keeping such polls) - and lost 9 months later; and

    2) It's the Economy, Stupid (Where's James Carville when you need him? I assume he and Bubba are keeping mum on this this time around.)

Though I still think Obama is winning regardless because he was never really elected on the issues in the first place. So, why would it bother anyone that voted for him if his policies have not worked?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

The scary part isn't that he changes his beliefs it's that he has no beliefs. He's completely for sale and will say what he has to to get votes. He's the definition of shady politician.

If you really think that, ok.

But When you put together a collection of this many radical position shifts... well, that's pretty scary.

The president certainly hasn't been all the hope and change we wanted... but it's a lot better than someone whose solution is the same old "tax cuts for the rich" strategy that has never worked.

If Obama"s going to lose, then when will the drop in the polls happen? He still has a significant lead in electoral votes, and that hasn't changed.

We sill have an eternity to go until the election. I think Carter was still tied or ahead of Reagan at this point in 1980. :o
