Lisbon II - McDonalds

I don't know if anyone attended the Lisbon II show this year, but I for one was there with some kick ass people.

I know it's a bit late to be posting this, but did anyone else who was there go to McDonalds across the road from the arena on that day? It was in a huge shopping centre, upstairs.

I walked in with 2 friends, and they were playing PJ, we assumed it was just coincidence but that decided for us where we were gonna eat our lunch! lol

The song finished and another started. We heard things like Habit, Oceans - not the typically known stuff! We sat in there for about an hour and they were playing random PJ tracks, no albums etc, just completely random!

I thought it was awesome that they did that, did anyone else experience it?

    I was drinking in a bar/restaurant after the Paris show with tons of other Jammers and they had the Touring band video playing on screens all over the place. I was well impressed. I told the manager of the place that he was a dude and shook his hand.

    Edit: Although i only found out the next day that we'd been paying 9 Euros for a beer in there! :eek:

    They played TB2K in Lisbon too!!!

    Oh god...im trying to think of what we did after Paris. All the gigs are merging into one!

    Nini...what did we do?!!!

    I know i met you somewhere on the continent - either Paris or Italy. I recognised you at Helens meet-up. :confused:

    there was another bar I popped in for a coffee before teh show and they also played some PJ DVD...but we didn't pay 9 euros for beer...I know I didn't but then I'm French so maybe they saw the drunken rosbif coming ;)

    but in Verona, definitely! though i can't recall if you were there..i know you were in Bologna..

    Ahaha! Yeah, you asked me that at Helens meet up aswell....although I didn't expect u to remember after the shots :D!

    It was probably Paris...or Reading. Or Dublin. :D:D

    I still dont know about those roses. :confused:

    I've been wondering if I should have gone to Verona instead of Pistoia. Although I loved Pistoia, it would have been great to have been at the meet-up.

    yeah i think it was your flicker account. I was re-reading the Paris fanviews thread and saw a link to your photos. I was stood with you and Keith in the 10c queue and i had some of your wine!

    Oooh, Verona was good. Great laugh. I was really really tempted to go to Pistoia aswell. But it's so hard to tell which gigs you should go to. I guess the easiest option is to go to them all :D!

    there was no meet up as such, just a bunch of people getting pissed staying out of the rain before the show ;) (although apparently there was on the one before..and noobody told me!!:()

    Definitely, I had such an amazing night!
    That was the best of the concerts for me, arena, country, people, food, friends THE WORKS!

    Did no one else go to McDonalds? Would be a shame that they played PJ all day and no one from the concert went in lol
